UVERworld's new song is too perfect

Some of you may know but I consider UVERworld to be the best band in the whole entire world! I really love all their songs, D-Techno Life (IchiRuki song!), SHAMROCK, ROOTS, Ukiyo Crossing, Gekidou, Shaka Beach Laka Laka La, Resolve, Lump of Affection, Color of the Heart, Zero no Kotae… well, I can go on.

Recently they released yet another single called 恋しくて (Koishikute) which sort of means "I miss you" in Japanese. On 2chan EVERYONE was saying how the song should have been used as the theme song for "Fade to Black: Calling Out Your Name". I read the lyric and I couldn't agree more! The lyric even contains a sentence "

I miss you so much and I’m calling, calling out your name"!!! Ugg, why anime -team did you not use this song as the theme song for Bleach's 3rd movie! My fav band + Movie about my fav anime/manga couple of all time = My dream come true! Why anime-team!

Anyway here is the lyric and the music video for 恋しくて (Koishikute). I believe fits IchiRuki and the new movie very well ><

RenRuki

I created a new Renji x Rukia FC on BA. If you love this pairing then please join. More members are good!

I thought RenRuki deserved more respect on BA. I love this couple and it's quite sad to see the Western fandom giving up on them and moving onto other couple that would seem more "canon". That's why I always end up talking to the Japanese fandom since RenRuki is still popular there.

My new obsession! No! Not guys in speedos! J-Drama! Ever since I was little I've been watching a lot of english dramas but now I'm hooked to J-dramas! Here is my top 5 fav J-Dramas, and I suggest all of you to watch it! Lol

Water Boys

Plot: Story about 5 high school boys who starts a synchronized swimming team at their school

Umm... guys in Speedos! What more do you want? I once suggested watching this drama to Geta Boshi. This began off as a movie and due to its massive hit it was adapted into a drama. You don't have to watch the movie in order to start the drama but suggest you do since the hot Satoshi Tsumabuki is starring as a main character. The drama is just as hilarious and amusing as the movie so I order all of you to watch it NOW!

1 Litre of Tears

Plot: This drama is an adaption of the diary of a Japanese girl named Aya Kito, who suffered from spinocerebellar ataxia. She begins to keep a diary at the suggestion of her doctor and continues writting it until she could no longer hold a pen

I usually don't watch tragic drama, but this wasn't bad as I thought it would be. The book was also adapted into a movie and I read that a lot of people cried while watching it. I got so hooked to the drama I asked my uncle to buy a book of it (diary of Aya Kito)

Dr Koto

Plot: Story about a young doctor who left Tokyo and moved into a isolated island in the Southern part of Japan. He works at a clinic there as the only doctor on the island.

My dad's friend is an actor in this drama and that's what got me watching in the first place. Dr Koto started off as a manga so it should be very intresting to watch.

Hana Kimi

Plot: Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in U.S who one day sees a young athlete Sano Izumi compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him and decides to move into Japan and attend the same school as he goes to. However, Izumi attends a all-boys school so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy and enters in the school

Geta Boshi suggested me this drama. To some of you, you may not like it because of the craiziness, but I loved it! The intro music is so catchy it easily gets stuck into my head

Hana Yori Dango

Plot: Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculosly rich and privileged that is ruled by a group called F4 (Flower 4)

When I first heard of this drama I thought to myself "What kind of group would call themselves Flower 4?" but aside from that, awsome drama!

Renji x Rukia from SOULs

Confession – I’m also a huge Ren x Ruki fan and I decided to post some RenxRuki highlights from the SOULs book.

There are more pages that mentions about Ren x Ruki but in some of those it has Ichigo in it eg. “To My Soul” speech, Renji vs. Ichigo etc. I may translate them someday.

Okay, this is my first LJ entry, and even though most of you have seen it before I'm just going to post my translations from the SOULs book that I have posted on BA before

By the way, I still don't understand how LJ works -_-;;

"She is not just a nakama"

My Translation

“She is not just a nakama…” accepting Ichigo’s feelings towards Rukia Orihime’s heart painfully sway. And an uncertain feeling that comes and disappears inside Ishida… “I don’t want to make her sad” (referring to Orihime. We can tell it is referring to her cause the sentence goes 織姫を悲しませたくない but if I literally translate it, it would not make sense) with that thought in mind Ishida wishes for Ichigo’s victory in his struggling battle

“Kuchiki-san is the person who changed Kurosaki-kun’s life”

Sensa_689's Translation

Ishida, Orihime -
Humans' thoughts (it's more of a "Real world's members' thoughts" but I thought it sounded weird).
"She is not just a nakama..." reacting to Ichigo's feelings towards Rukia, Orihime's heart kindly trembles. And, Ishida's uncertain (or unclear) feelings (emotions, thoughts) vanish (as they linger inside). "I don't want to see her sad" (referring to Orihime). With these feelings, Ishida wishes for Ichigo's victory(there are references to struggle "to death", but I couldn't find where to fit it).

(nakama needs a bit different word from 'friend' usually, I use comrade most of the time, but 'friend' will work here)(I would have put 'shiveringly trembles' but the translation has the implication that it's not a -bad- trembling, just kind of a sad, wistful one. V. difficult to word, but come away with the idea that her trembling is not out of fear, just sadness/wistfulness/what have you).
